Garafolo Residence

Challenged by a thin lot, the second story is cantilevered on 4 exposed glulam beams to create an atrium and spacious feel, flooding the house with natural light. The large cantilever allows for an open floor plan. Full height glazing at the rear façade creates a sightline through the house to the lagoon upon entry. An earth-toned pallet was selected from building exterior to interior for a cohesive, modern aesthetic.
